Xerox Phaser 7500/DN Faster than most colour laser printers and able to overcome tabloid size paper. It prints plain text pages with speeds of 28.1 pages per minute (ppm) and colour pages as fast as 5.1 ppm - less than Xerox promises up to 35 ppm, but is still much faster than any other colour laser we've tested. A tabloid size page is twice the size of a letter-size print sample and will likely take longer per page to print. The print quality is attractive and realistic in its entirety, except the tone of the meat, which tends to have orange acts.
This high volume unit can carry paper in all directions. The 500-sheet main input tray requires 11.7 x by 17 inches of paper; optional 500 sheet feeder ($ 600) or 1500-sheet ($ 1200) handle media up to 13-to-18 inches. The 100-sheet versatile tray (MPT) can be up to 12.6 by 47.2 inches, the size of the banner. Duplexing is standard. What I have to say: the printer control panel lets you confirm the paper settings each time you open the tray. On most printers, this is handled from within the printer driver, which is less annoying. The control panel (with six rows, monochrome LCD) has a simple design, but I do not like having to exit the submenu manually. The toner cartridge is idiot-proof, with striking colours visible on the cartridge and the slots are coloured. The PDF-based user guide is very comprehensive, and the Paper-based Quick Use Guide comes on the side of the printer.
