Xerox WorkCentre 7665 multifunction printer for large-scale printing needs, this printer is the successor of the 7600 series. This printer not only offers copy, scan and facsimile features, but color printing is faster and sharper than any Phaser 7000 model. The basic model 7665 comes standard with Ethernet. The 1GB memory and 80GB hard drive allow this WorkCentre to handle any size print requests and to save the work securely to the hard drive. USB is optional. Three Selection options can provide 7665 full publishing features including staples, multi-hole punch, Z, C, and V-fold and bindings for catalogues and magazines.

The WorkCentre 7665 prints at speeds up to 25 pages two sides in color mode per minute and for one-sided printing this printer prints up to 50 ppm, and for printing one-sided black-and-white documents this printer can print up to 65 pages. It has one of the highest resolutions at 2,400 x 2,400, this gives you professional image quality. The polymerized toner helps improve the definition and sharpness while providing a photo-like glow to plain paper. Duplicate Document Delivery (ADF) duplexing can handle copying, scanning and faxing of your 2-sided original documents, either in color or in B & W. With a 250-sheet capacity, it handles about twice the number of other multifunction with ADF. WorkCentre 7665 comes with two 500 sheet cassette trays and a 1,140 sheet tray that supports paper from 8.5 "x 11" to 11 "x 17". 250-sheet multi-purpose shortcut tray handles a variety of paper weights and sizes up to 13 "x 19".

For sensitive information, incoming faxes can be stored securely directly to memory, only printed with the correct password. 32MB of memory is provided for 7665 to store up to 200 password-protected mailboxes. WorkCentre 7665 allows network administrators to create password-protected accounts to prevent unauthorized use, the ability to manage user quotas or group policies, and track and audit all services. WorkCentre enables unauthorized filtering of IPs and ports, data encryption on 80GB hard drives, LDAP server security, IPv6 support, and document name blocking. Removal of all saved images using the USS DoD deletion algorithm can be scheduled during off hours. Xerox has included emulation of HP PCL5c, PCL6, and Adobe PostScript3 printers to meet most office demands. 7665 also offers Adobe "PDF-Direct" printing that allows PDF files sent directly to WorkCentre for printing without opening Acrobat applications.
